The WCB Injury Claims Process
If you have sustained a workplace injury, we encourage you to follow these steps to initiate chiropractic care:
- Report the Injury to Your Employer: The first step is reporting the injury to your employer. Timely reporting ensures a swift start to the claims process.
- Complete an Employee Accident Report: Your employer will guide you through completing an Employee Accident Report, document the details of the incident. This form is vital for filing a claim with the Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB).
- Submission to the WBC: Your employer will submit the Employee Accident Report to the WBC, initiating the claims process. This step is essential for obtaining approval for chiropractic care.
- Chiropractic Consultation: Our experienced chiropractors will conduct a thorough examination and, upon confirmation of workplace injury, complete and submit a Chiropractor’s First Report to the WCB. This report outlines the nature and extent of injury, supporting your case for chiropractic intervention.
Chiropractic Approval
Upon submission of the Chiropractor’s First Report to the WCB, we will await the WCB’s approval. Once approved, we can begin chiropractic care.
